Sophie and Kamdyn

Erika's best friend Sophie from high school was home from college this weekend and was finally able to come over and meet Kamdyn.

Newborn Pics

Stacy came over to Erika's last week and did newborn pics of Kamdyn.  I had alot of fun watching her pose him and just hanging out with her while she was taking them.  She gave us so many pics to choose from I don't know what ones to pick.  Here are some of my favorites!!!  Thanks Stacy, you did an amazing job with him.

Jami's new car.......

Jami got a new car last week.......a Cadillac Escalade.  Here she is giving Alyvia and Kiana a ride around the block or should I say Mama Dee's front yard.  Can you tell in the pic who the grown up is?  Love you, J.  hahaha

Spoiled.....

Kiana and Kamdyn

We had Kiana this weekend and she was finally able to meet Kamdyn and he broke her in well.  First he blew out his diaper on her and then he sneezed in her face.  Thankfully, she has three little brothers already and it didn't faze her a bit.

Alyvia

Alyvia is in dance this year & got her new costume the other week, so she had to try it on and show us how pretty she looks with it on.  Vanessa had to bribe her at dance that night because she didn't want to stay for both session, she told her she had to stay or she wouldn't get to see Kamdyn.

New cousins

After visiting with Grandma's we made a quick stop over at Doug & Jessie's.  As I was walking up with Kamdyn in his carrier Mae came running to the window saying "baby baby".  I think she's going to be a great big sister this summer, she was all about Kamdyn but kept calling him "Gwenny", her other cousin.  When Doug asked her where Mommy's baby was, she showed us the front pocket of Jess's hoodie, she's adorable.

Five Generations

Today Kamdyn finally got to meet his Great Great Gma Schrader and get a 5 generation picture for gma.  After checking him all out Gma said he was perfect & he was a good size baby.  haha  Considering Gma had no babies under 8.5, I guess he was a good size for her.  Great Gma Julie also came down to visit with us.

We had to take Erika to Dr. today and Aunt Jami decided she had to pick on Kamdyn.  Either that or he will be a "super star".

Kam's room

Erika found this mobile at one of her Grandma Diane's auction over the summer, the box said it was made in the 1950's.  She wanted to do his room in traditional baby and this was perfect.  Today's models have all the bells and whistles but this one is just simple.  Plus it still had the price tag on the box........$5.98!!!  WOW!
Aunt Gina made him a wall decoration with his name on it to go above his bed. 

My 1st bath

Erika texted me this morning to let me know his belly bottom nub fell of and wanted me to come over to show her how to give him a bath.  The first tub full he peed in and we had to start all over.  The second bath he fell asleep as soon as he hit the water.

Kamdyn 1st check up

Kamdyn had his first check up last Friday & all is well.  He dropped down to 8lbs 14oz when he left the hospital but has gained some weight and is up to 9lbs 3oz.  He is in the 90% in his height and 80% in his weight.  He also had his first outing last Thursday to Mommy's work at Westside Pizza, it has been decided he is the youngest employee they have and the official pizza taster since Erika ate the entire time she was pregnant.

My 1st day home

Kamdyn & Erika were released from the hospital on Tues. 9th, both are doing well & Kamdyn weighed 8lbs 14oz when he left.  Pics of his 1st day at home......
