To Mommy, love Kam

Mommy started her 1st day of college today and I get to stay with Gma all day 3 days a week.  I'll miss my mommy but know she is doing this to make a better life for us in the future.  I love you, Mommy.  I'll call you today.

Benefit In memory of Dick Symonds

Will's family lost a great man earlier this month to cancer, Uncle Dick was diagnosed with stomach cancer the end of July and passed early in August.  The family has decided to have a hog roast in Sept. to raise money for St. Rita's hospice thanking them for all the help and support they gave.  Dick's son Wayne owns the "Pony Keg" in Shawnee and has been to several of our parties, I'm sure everyone has met him at some point.  Come out and enjoy the food, beverages and bands on Sept. 25th.

Almost 6 months

I can't believe Kamdyn will be 6 months on the 5th.  Where has the time went?  Erika starts college tomorrow and he will be with me all day on Mon, Weds and Fridays so I'm sure I'll get lots of pics of him.  He is sitting up on his own now but still a little wobbly, I love watching him start to go over and getting it under control. Great Gma Julie brought him over a walker that goes in circles and he loves it.

Coolman Reunion

We took Kamdyn to Grandma Schraders family reunion in August, gma wanted us to bring him over to meet his great-great-great Aunt Mary Jane who will be 92 this year.  Kamdyn is her 6th generation nephew.  He was the youngest boy at the reunion and won a kids football which he loves.  By the end of the day he was a tired little boy but had fun being center of attention with his great-great Aunts and Uncles.

Nyla Michelle

I know its a little late but I wanted to get these pics up of Nyla from the hospital.  Kamdyn and me went up to see her Saturday after she was born, he was in awe looking at her until she cried then he started crying.  I did notice she makes a face and looks exactly like Trent. Poor Leslie!  Nyla was born July 30th, 6 lbs 13oz and 20 inches long.  Congrats Trent and Leslie.
